Established in 1977, we promote local arts and crafts in Western Australia's Goldfields Region through exhibition, workshops and engagement in community projects and events.
We are a volunteer-run group.

FOUR MAIN EVENTS

We encourage participants of all ages and all skill levels to exhibit in our events. It is such a pleasure to see children, emerging artists, amateur, and professional artists, enjoy each other's work. We mentor first-time exhibitors through the process of preparing and presenting works for exhibition and sale.
It is an enriching experience for everyone.
Our Showcase Event 'GOLDEN MILE ART PRIZE' (Members Exhibition) – usually July-October
This is a judged exhibition with a prize pool of $6000

Kalgoorlie-Boulder COMMUNITY FAIR ART PRIZE – held in March at the Kalgoorlie Boulder Community Fair
Super fun people's choice judging from fair visitors decides winners of the $1600 Prize Pool.
SMALL ENDEAVOURS – February-May - at The Art House
Challenging artists to work small, with an optional theme each year.
GOLDEN MILE ART CHRISTMAS – November/December - at The Art House
Celebrating our Artists through shows and/or gift sales.
A fun catered opening night doubles as our Christmas Party.

Every Tuesday morning from 10am – 12noon
You are welcome to join us and bring your latest project to work on.
The kettle is always on and we only ask for a gold coin or tap donation.

WORKSHOPS
Regular SkillShare workshops are hosted by members to share techniques and knowledge.
Kept to an affordable cost of $5 - $20 with discounts for members.
We have also been fortunate to secure funding from the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder
which has enabled us to hold regularly featured workshops through our Masterclass events.
These events have discounted prices for members.
